THE NSV PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Change Your Trauma Story Today

SEPT 2 – 8, 2024 in Ely, mn

About NSV Photography Workshop

Our flagship experience, the Photography Workshop, is an educational and healing experience. Based in Ely, MN, you’ll experience nature immersion, art immersion, and opportunities to share your story with your brothers and sisters.

You’ll hear loons sing on the lake, watch stunning sunrises and sunsets from your cabin. Take photo walks along beautiful shorelines.  Photograph the stars (and maybe the Auroras!)

You’re provided all the equipment to learn photography and edit photos, and create a stunning masterpiece. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. You’ll be trained by award-winning photographers.

Next Step Opportunities

Each NSV program offers “next step” opportunities after participation in one of our programs.  These opportunities allow you to reconnect with your brothers and sisters, reengage with the activity and remain on the path of changing your trauma story.

“This program inspired me to slowly warm up to  the idea of getting out of my home and into nature.  This has been a struggle.  Yesterday was the first time I went outside of my comfort zone and went hiking. I know that without my experience with the NSV program, this wouldn’t have happened.”

“Alec always went above and beyond to share his knowledge and expertise in photography with us. He would go out of his way to spend time with and connect to each of us individually.  Alec not only made it easy to understand in his teaching style and approach, he made it fun and the laughing for me was therapeutic in itself.”
